I have been working as a financial adviser since 1991 and as an independent financial adviser since 1999. By the end of 2012 all financial advisers will have to have passed what is known as level 4 qualification or diploma qualification, my exam passed and qualifications are in excess of this and include:
CII G10 Taxation and Trusts.
CII K20 Pension Investment Options
CII JO5 Pension Retirement Options
CII SV1 Investment & Savings.
CII Mortgage Advice Qualification.
These qualifications are across the board and include most of the areas of financial advice.
